Wave
Spots you, squats, three big slinky-arm waves.
Plays when you say hi, or it starts up
The moves
14 moves, and counting.
Every move is hand-timed, rubber-hose animation at 24 frames a second: gummy blocks that squash and
stretch, a spring that rings and settles. Each one starts and ends on the same pose, so they chain
together without a cut. Tap any of them to play it again.
Greetings
Hello, attention, welcome back.
Jack-in-the-box
Crouch, rocket up out of the box, smack-down landing.
Plays when something needs you, or a surprise
Peek-a-boo
Hides its eyes, giggles, peeks out twice.
Plays when it feels playful, or you come back
Ambient
Life while nothing is happening; the idle timer picks from these.
Idle
One relaxed breath with a soft bob; loops cleanly.
Plays when nothing is happening
Curious peek
Hears something, leans left, leans right, shrugs.
Plays when nothing is happening, or it hears something
Snooze
Yawns, nods off with Zs, startles awake.
Plays when you step away, or it has been quiet a while
Status
What the assistant is doing: working, thinking, a message arrived.
Working
Hammers a toy keyboard, tongue out, final flourish.
Plays when you start focusing, or it is working for you
Think
Taps its chin, ponders, lightbulb idea.
Plays when it is thinking, or a draft is on the way
Message
Catches an envelope, peeks inside, shows it off.
Plays when news arrives, or a message lands
Wellbeing
Nudges: drink water, stretch, take a break.
Hydrate
Drinks from a coral bottle: you should too.
Plays when time for water
Stretch
Arms out wide, twists, big exhale.
Plays when time to stretch, or you have sat too long
Break
Sips from a mug, melts, perks up, waves.
Plays when time for a break, or your focus timer ends
Reactions
Responses to outcomes: success, confusion.
Celebrate
Cheers, two big hops, jelly shimmy, sparkles.
Plays when you finish something, or something works
Confused
Head tilt, question mark, big shrug.
Plays when something went wrong, or it needs your help
Coming next
A Hide move, where it ducks out of sight for quiet hours, and Peek under the edge, where it pops up from below the screen when something needs you. Most nudges get their own move, so the library keeps growing.
