Why isn’t local the cheap plan?
Because the people who need on-device the most are often the ones who can’t use the cloud at all. Every plan runs on your Mac. Private Cloud adds power; it doesn’t replace privacy.
What does Private Cloud add?
Bigger models for heavy jobs (long documents, deep research, multi-step workflows) and a way to run Peek-A-Bot on Macs that can’t run a local model. It’s off until you turn it on, and you choose whether jobs go there always, never, or only when you say yes. How it works.
Can anyone see my data in Private Cloud?
It’s built so that no one can: requests are encrypted on your Mac, processed in sealed hardware with no admin access, erased as soon as they’re answered, and not linked to who sent them. That includes us.
Can I pay once instead of monthly?
Yes. Personal is $10 a month, or $99 once. Pro is monthly, because Private Cloud runs on servers.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Free gives you the companion and every move, one integration, and a Me file built from your last 30 days, on a small built-in model.
How does Team billing work?
Team is $20 per seat per month, billed yearly, with volume licensing for larger companies. IT gets MDM-managed setup, SSO, a company-wide switch for Private Cloud, and an audit document.
Will these prices change?
Peek-A-Bot is in early access, so these are the plans we intend to launch with. Prices are in US dollars and may change before launch. Early-access members hear about it first.
